Rethinking pgs. 53-105 - Emily
I believe that Discipline: No Quick Fix was very insightful. To me discipline is not black and white, I think that different discipline is required for different situations and each student isn't going to respond to the same discipline. If you discipline a child to harshly for a small problem you could terrify them and cause them to dislike you as a teacher and this could lead them shutting down and not giving you their best. On the other side of that if you don't discipline a child for something major then they think they can run all over you. Your way of approaching discipline and how you handle each station depends on the student and the rule they broke.
