Rethinking pgs. 106-160 - Emily

So I was really interested in the story on page 126, "Promoting Social Imagination Through Interior Monologues."I was really drawn to the way the teachers chose to have their students look at things in an empathetic manor. I believe with the culture we live in today with all the slander and hate of all people for one reason or another that the human race as a whole is becoming desensitized to those around us. If this trend continues then people will be no better than animals in each others eyes and soon after that slaughtering them will be nothing more than what slaughtering animals is currently.
