"Oh, no!! I've messed up!!"-lesson plan


Visual Studies Lesson Plan

Title of Lesson:  Oh, no!!  I’ve messed up!!

Materials Used:  pencil, paper and paint

Timeline for Lesson:  1 week

Activity/Procedure:
1.  Have the class do blind contour of a still life.
2.  Afterwards, ask them to point out their mistakes.
3.  Show them that they can use those mistakes to make corrections or create an entirely different image.

Assessments (objective or subjective):

1.  Subjective-See if the class is able to understand that mistakes happen but how they react determines the outcome.
