Ringgold ch.5-6, epilogue, FAP pp.65-114-Wendi Coats

Ringgold:  again this book has been very encouraging to me in pursuing my work using fabrics and sewing techniques. I've been told that that's not considered "real art" similar to Ringgold and I plan to experiment with it anyway.  I liked the fact that she wasn't concerned with her art being accepted but what made her happy, which is how I plan too.  

FAP:  this section was difficult to read bc it was written very randomly and seemed to have no clear purpose in discussing her work.  I really wasn't intersted in her work from what I was able to discern from the other reviews.
