Ringgold ch.3-4 & FAP pp.19-64 comments-Wendi Coats

Ringgold ch.3-4:  these chapters were interesting too. I really identified with her seemingly randomness in beginning to use sewing and quilting in her art. She was inspired by the thangkas and used her own quilting knowledge to combine the two.  I'm inspired by various things too and am planning to start experimenting with some of those ideas using my skills in sewing and painting. 

FAP pp.19-64:  I enjoyed this reading despite it being a bit long. I liked that KOS was using literature as inspiration for their art projects to make it more personal. I've read some of the books they used so the art projects were a good way to better understand the stories.
